Depression
You are not alone.
Depression isn’t just “feeling sad.” It can feel like moving through life with a heavy weight on your chest, losing interest in things that once mattered, or struggling to find energy for even the simplest tasks. Sometimes it feels like emptiness, numbness, or the thought that nothing will ever change.
Depression can make you believe you’re broken or unworthy, but that’s not the truth. Depression is a real, human experience, and support is available.
How I Work with Depression
In therapy, you don’t have to pretend to be okay. Together, we’ll create space for honesty, healing, and hope. My approach includes helping you:
- Identify and gently shift self-critical thoughts
- Reconnect with motivation, joy, and meaning
- Process underlying grief, trauma, or stress contributing to depression
- Build routines and coping tools that support energy and balance
- Strengthen self-compassion and resilience
I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies to support both symptom relief and deeper healing.
You Deserve Support
Depression can make you feel isolated, but you don’t have to face it on your own. Therapy offers a space to share the weight you’ve been carrying and to rediscover your strength and sense of self.
I’ll meet you with compassion and respect, exactly as you are.
